About two weeks ago I decided to make a "Bucket List," specifically for things around Blacksburg. I am trying to do everything on the list before I leave in 15 days!
Some things on the list are easy: I wanted to get a metal M keychain from a store to put my keys on after I graduate. I will be parting with the VT lanyard I used for five years. I did that one yesterday.
Others are hard because they are not necessarily things I can do on my own: hike Dragon's Tooth, go to the River. I have been trying, with little success, to find partners for these things. Tomorrow Ashley L. and I are going to try to hike Dragon's Tooth.
Today, to scratch another thing off my list, I went to the horticulture garden. It was the perfect day for it! Sunny, no clouds and 70 out. I had a really good time walking around and taking pictures of pretty flowers. I sat for about an hour on a dock area and read my newest mystery novel, "Payment in Blood" by Elizabeth George.
Maybe next weekend if the weather is nice again I can scratch another outdoor activity off of my list. I do have a final on Saturday afternoon...maybe I will study at the River on Friday. I'll just have to see.
